Kesiapan belajar merupakan faktor penting yang harus diperhatikan karena dapat memengaruhi keefektifan proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan analisis hasil asesmen diagnostik untuk mengetahui kesiapan belajar peserta didik pada materi teks laporan hasil observasi di kelas X3 SMAN 7 Cirebon. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa mayoritas siswa belum mencapai kesiapan belajar yang optimal akibat masalah yang beragam, seperti kurangnya rasa percaya diri, stres yang dialami, kurangnya kesadaran untuk bertanya, inisiatif belajar yang rendah, dan kurangnya pemahaman terkait teks laporan hasil observasi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi hambatan ini dengan beberapa cara, antara lain membangun lingkungan belajar yang positif, menerapkan teknik kesadaran diri, menggunakan model, metode, strategi, dan media pembelajaran yang relevan, serta diferensiasi pembelajaran agar siswa dapat mencapai kesiapan belajar yang lebih baik.
Learning readiness is an important factor that must be considered because it can affect the effectiveness of the learning process. This is important to note so that students can follow the learning process properly and optimally. This study aims to describe the analysis of the results of the diagnostic assessment to determine the learning readiness of students in the text material of the observation report in class X3 SMAN 7 Cirebon. The theories used in this study include theories about diagnostic assessment and learning readiness. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive method, namely presenting the results of the research comprehensively to readers. The results showed that the majority of students had not achieved optimal learning readiness due to varying self-confidence problems, stress experienced by half of them, lack of awareness to ask questions, low learning initiative, and lack of understanding related to the structure and language of the material. Efforts are made to overcome these obstacles in several ways, building a positive learning environment, applying self-awareness techniques, using relevant learning models, methods, strategies, and media, as well as learning differentiation so that students can achieve better learning readiness.
